HAVILLA UNIVERSITY, NDE, IKOM (HUNI) is set to launch its Smart Campus project which would see the deployment of a 275-seater Computer Based Test (CBT) Centre, a 50-seater Computer Software Lab, and a Wi-Fi network that covers the entire campus. The incoming CBT Centre would be the first of its kind in all of Cross River State’s Central Senatorial District. It would cover major towns from Akamkpa, Biase, Abi, Ugep, Obubra, Etung, Ikom, Boki, among others. According to the Vice Chancellor of Havilla University, Prof Samuel Tita Wara, the new CBT Centre which is located inside the University campus, would greatly ease the travel burdens and other hassles experienced by tens of thousands of candidates seeking admission into tertiary institutions in the Central Senatorial District. Until now, the students are made to go as far as Akamkpa, Ogoja and Obudu for all their JAMB and UTME registration and examinations formalities.
