ZION TRAVELLERS MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH, Phoenix Louisiana, USA, has endowed an annual educational support scheme for indigent children of Nde-Ikom area willing to study at Havilla University (HUNI). Rev. Dr Tyronne Tangban Edwards stated this at a worship service at Chapel of Glory, Havilla University’s worship centre. He said, having witnessed that so many young people would be willing to study at a university like Havilla, but were severely challenged by financial constraints, the Zion Travellers Missionary Baptist Church would be supporting such students with $500 annually. Rev Tangban Edwards requested the Vice Chancellor, Prof Samuel Wara and the University anagement, to work out the criteria on sourcing the benefitting students of the educational support fund.
